Kendriya Vidyalaya Gomoh commonences existance in the year 1988. Kendriya Vidyalaya Gomoh civil sector Vidyalaya opened on 1988 on the demand of Railways Employees, guard, T.T., Driver and employee of loco shed. Gomoh is the centre point of Railway tracks diversion. Vidyalaya first opened in the  Railway Building just near Gomoh Railways Station. After that Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan constructed ‘B’ type school building and 11 no. of staff quarters just near a mountainous sean half km from gomoh Railway Station. The School progressed upto class 12 with science stream following nearly 744 students. There is two section from class 1 to 10. The School consists fully equipped Physics, chemistry and biology lab, teaching aids rooms, resource room with LCD Projector, VCD Television and OHP.
